Privacy policy.

Plain-English version of what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with and how long we keep it. It applies whether you order on this site, message us on WhatsApp, or visit our store. We handle personal data in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

Who we are

Printvolution Pte Ltd (“Printvolution”, “we”, “us”), Paya Lebar Square, 60 Paya Lebar Road #B1-35, Singapore 409051. Questions about your data go to our Data Protection Officer at contact@printvolution.sg.

What we collect

Contact and account details — name, email, phone number, company name, and your login if you create an account.
Order details — what you ordered, delivery or collection address, order notes, and payment status. We do not see or store your full card details; payments are handled by our payment providers.
Files and designs — artwork, photos and text you upload or send us for printing.
WhatsApp messages — if you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your WhatsApp name, phone number, and the messages, images and files you send.
Website usage — basic, aggregated analytics (pages visited, device type, performance) and error reports, plus the cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your cart.

How we use it

To quote, produce, deliver and support your orders, and to answer your enquiries.
To send order updates — confirmations, artwork proofs, production and delivery status — by email or WhatsApp.
To run your account, membership, vouchers and referral rewards.
To keep the site secure, fix bugs and improve our service.
To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
To send promotions — only if you opt in. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link, replying “STOP” on WhatsApp, or emailing us.

We do not sell your personal data.

We use the WhatsApp Business service, provided by WhatsApp LLC / Meta Platforms, to chat with customers. When you message us, we use your number and messages only to reply to you and handle your order — for example to send quotes, artwork proofs and order updates.

Messages are delivered through WhatsApp’s infrastructure and are also subject to WhatsApp’s privacy policy. You can stop messages from us at any time by replying “STOP” or blocking our number.

Who we share it with

Only what each provider needs to do its job for us:

Payments — HitPay and PayPal process your payment.
Delivery — couriers such as Lalamove and Ninja Van receive your name, phone number and delivery address.
Hosting and email — Vercel (website), Supabase (database and file storage) and Resend (order emails).
Analytics and error monitoring — Vercel Analytics and Sentry.
AI photo styling — for gift products that offer an AI art style, the photo you upload is sent to OpenAI to generate the styled image. It is used only to create your design.
Messaging — WhatsApp / Meta, when you chat with us on WhatsApp.
Authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers store data outside Singapore. Where they do, we rely on them to protect it to a standard comparable to the PDPA.

Gift uploads — 30-day retention

We delete your files 30 days after ordering. Your uploaded photo and the 300 DPI print file are removed 30 days after checkout. We keep only a watermarked preview so you can still see your order in your account history. If you need a reprint, please place a new order before then.

Why: uploaded photos and 300 DPI print files take a lot of storage and hold more data than we need to keep past fulfilment. Your customer order record — name, email, shipping address, what you ordered, what you paid — is retained as part of our business records.

Per-product override: some gift products may set a different retention window — always shown on the product page before you order.

Customer records

We keep your account email, shipping details, and order history indefinitely so you can re-order, track past jobs, and we can meet Singapore accounting requirements. You can request deletion by emailing us.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, withdraw consent for us to use it, or have it deleted (subject to records we must keep by law). Email contact@printvolution.sg and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to complete an order that depends on it.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), stored with access controls, and only staff who need it to fulfil your order can see it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
