PVC canvas is what you reach for when a banner needs to survive rain, wind, a multi-week outdoor run, or repeated storage-and-re-use. The decisions that actually change the outcome are size, eyelet placement, and file prep. Here is what matters on each one.
How sizing works — any dimension, trimmed to fit.
PVC canvas has no fixed sizes and no size matrix. Type the width and height you need into the calculator and the canvas is printed and trimmed to those exact dimensions — the price updates live as you size it, so you can see the effect of going bigger or smaller before you order.
Bigger banners cost more and smaller ones cost less, in proportion to the area, with a small floor so a tiny sample still covers production. You never work any of this out yourself — size it on the calculator and the total is shown.
Eyelets — how many, and where to place them.
Eyelets are the metal-ringed holes used to hang the canvas from hooks, zip ties, rope or a banner frame. Add as many as your hanging method needs — or set the count to zero if the banner will be taped, stuck or clipped up.
Placement rule-of-thumb: one eyelet per 60–80cm of edge. For a wide shop banner, corner eyelets are enough if it hangs from rope. For an outdoor banner that has to tension against wind, space them along the top edge. For a photocall backdrop on a frame, run eyelets along the top only.

Send your artwork as an Adobe Illustrator (.AI) file or print-ready PDF — CMYK colour, 300 DPI at the exact size you ordered (no scaling on our side), fonts outlined. No bleed needed: PVC canvas is printed and trimmed to the exact dimensions you typed in, so the artwork sits flush to the trim. Keep critical text at least 50mm from any edge so eyelet punching doesn't land on a letter.
