How we print.
Tell us the wall,
we'll tell you the size.
Everything worth knowing,
before you order your canvas.
Artist canvas printing in Singapore takes your photo or artwork and turns it into a gallery-style piece — printed on cotton canvas, stretched over a wooden frame, with the image wrapped around the edges. Three things decide how good it looks on the wall: the size, the shape, and how the file is set up. Here's what matters for each.
How the size sets the price.
The price is based on size. Both the width and the height count, so the bigger you go on either side, the more it costs — the calculator shows the exact figure live as you set the dimensions, from a 30 cm minimum side up to 90 cm.
That keeps a small canvas affordable and scales smoothly up to a large feature piece. And because both sides count the same, a 30 × 40 cm and a 40 × 30 cm come out at the same price.
Pick the shape before the size.
Match the canvas shape to your photo. Portrait (taller than wide) suits a single subject — a person, a pet, one object. Landscape (wider than tall) suits scenery, group shots and wide views. Square suits album art and photos shot square on a phone, and looks tidy in a grid of canvases.
Try to keep the canvas shape close to the photo's own shape. Forcing a tall photo into a square crops off heads, feet or the horizon — if the shapes don't quite line up, go one size larger so the crop stays generous.
Getting your file right.
Send a PDF, TIFF or JPG at 300 DPI at the final canvas size, with 5 mm bleed all round — the bleed is the strip that wraps around the frame, so you never see it from the front. Keep faces, logos and the main subject away from the very edge so nothing is lost on the wrap.
Set your file to 300 DPI at the actual canvas size — that's the resolution that prints sharp. Recent phone photos usually hold up at small to medium sizes; heavily cropped or older shots may not. We check every file first — if it won't hold up at the size you picked, we'll tell you before we print and suggest one that stays sharp.
