File requirements
✓ CMYK colour mode
✓ 300dpi minimum
✓ Fonts embedded / outlined
⚠ Please convert your file to CMYK before sending. The press prints CMYK either way, and print always reads a bit darker than a bright RGB screen — that's normal.

POSTER PRINTING SINGAPORE — SHARP FROM ACROSS THE ROOM

A poster lives or dies at distance — if it does not read clean from across the room, the design never mattered. Four calls decide that: the size, the lamination, the file you send, and whether it needs to stand on its own.

01

Size follows viewing distance, not ambition.

A3 and A2 are close-range sizes — counter displays, lift lobbies, classroom walls, anywhere the reader is within a couple of metres. A1 and A0 are the across-the-room sizes: event backdrops, retail windows and exhibition panels.

Bigger is not automatically better. A busy A0 read from three metres loses to a clean A2 carrying one message. Match the size to where it hangs and how far the reader stands — that does more for legibility than any finish.

02

The shine is a choice — matt or gloss.

The paper is matt to begin with; there is no shine on the surface itself. Any sheen comes from optional lamination — a thin protective film pressed over the print.

Matt lamination stays low-sheen and reads cleanly from any angle, so it is the safe pick for lobbies and exhibition panels lit from above. Gloss lamination deepens colour and makes brand shots and photography pop — the one for retail windows and product displays.

03

Make it stand up, stay flat, or hold a shape.

A bare poster needs a wall. To make it rigid or freestanding, mount it: compressed foam board is light and clean for easel display, while black kapaline is the denser, premium board that holds dead flat over time.

For a self-supporting unit, add a cardboard standee. Die-cut shaping and black or white edge capping round things out when the piece needs a custom outline or a finished border.

04

Send it at 300 DPI, full size — or it shows.

Artwork comes in at 300 DPI at the exact size you ordered. A small image stretched up to A0 turns soft and pixelated the moment someone steps back — distance is unforgiving. No bleed needed; we print to the exact dimensions and trim flush.

Vector files (.AI / EPS) are ideal for logos, text and flat graphics; PDF suits photography and mixed layouts. Every order goes through a file check, and we flag anything too low-res before it prints.
