Heat-printed photos crack and fade; stitched colour stays. Full color embroidery rebuilds your picture as bold, true-to-life colour and lays it down in thread, so the artwork still looks right years and washes later. Here’s what actually decides how good it comes out — the photo, the placement, what makes a design stitch well, and how the order is built.
The photo decides the colour rebuild.
Send a bright, in-focus photo where the subject fills the frame and the colours are true. The AI rebuilds it into bold colour shapes built for thread — keeping the palette and the form, dropping the fine gradients and noise that embroidery can’t hold.
Dim, washed-out or far-away shots flatten into muddy colour. You preview the rebuilt artwork before you ever add to cart, so if it isn’t reading right, swap the photo and it rebuilds again — no guessing.
Bigger reads better in colour.
Every piece includes a front design. Simple, bold subjects sit fine as a left-chest badge; a detailed colour portrait wants the larger centred spot, where the blocks of colour have room to land.
Add an optional back design and drag it on the live preview to set it exactly — high between the shoulders, or lower for a bigger statement.
Bold and simple stitches best.
Thread isn’t ink. The artwork is rebuilt into a handful of flat, solid colours with clean borders — because that is what a needle can actually lay down. Big blocks of colour read sharp; fussy detail does not.
That’s also why patterns don’t come through: plaids, stripes, florals and printed logos on clothing get flattened to a single solid colour, since a pattern can’t be embroidered cleanly. Bold subjects with strong, distinct colours give the best result.
Build a pair, or a whole team.
Orders start at two pieces, and you can stack different garments in one: a tee and a polo, an oversized tee and a hoodie, two tees in different colours and sizes. Each piece prices on its own, live, as you choose its front design and an optional back. One artwork runs across the order — for a different design, add another cart line.
