A personalised mug is the rare gift that earns daily use. Mug printing comes down to two calls: the photo you pick, and how you place it on the wrap. Here’s how to get both right.
Sublimation, not a sticker.
The mug is printed by dye sublimation — heat infuses the ink into the white ceramic's coating, so the photo becomes part of the surface. It's not a sticker or a wrap-on label that can peel at the edge.
That's also why it prints smoothly around the curve: the colour sits in the coating, full-wrap, front and both sides, stopping at the handle.
Your photo IS the wrap — pick it like one.
A sharp, high-resolution photo reads cleanest. Bright, high-contrast images pop on the white ceramic; very dark or soft photos can look muddy once wrapped.
Keep the important part — a face, the logo — toward the centre of the print area. The wrap curves away near the handle, so edges of the image bend out of easy view.
